County Limerick Childcare Committee was set-up in 2000 and is responsible for the local delivery of National Childcare Programmes. At present CLCC operates under the newly formed Department of Children and Youth Affairs. We work in partnership with relevant stakeholders to support the childcare sector in County Limerick. .

County Limerick Childcare Committee is the central point of information for Childcare Providers and Parents in County Limerick, on matters relating to Early Years Care and Education. Working in partnership with relevant organisations and government departments we provide information on a range of issues and government programmes.

To Promote the development of a co-ordinated, integrated, inclusive, strategic approach to the delivery of accessible, affordable, culturally appropriate, high quality childcare services that meet the overall developmental needs of children whilst supporting parents/guardians.
