The County Limerick Childcare Committee was set up in 2000 to:
- co-ordinate childcare services
- increase childcare places;
- improve the quality of childcare in Co. Limerick
Mission Statement:
To Promote the development of a co-ordinated, integrated, inclusive, strategic approach
to the delivery of accessible, affordable, culturally appropriate, high quality childcare
services that meet the overall developmental needs of children
whilst supporting parents/guardians.

- Notice to Parents: Parents wishing to apply for the ECCE Scheme (Free Pre-school Year) or CCS Scheme (Subvention) will be asked to complete a Parental Declaration Form, which will be issued by their childcare service on the 6th September 2010. Forms must be completed between the 6th and the 8th September 2010 and returned to your childcare service. For further information on either scheme please see relevant sections on this website.
